Quilter, Exhibiting Artist, and Art Therapist
Ravin Lovett is a quilter, exhibiting artist, and art therapist whose work centers cultural history, healing, and community storytelling. Drawing from traditions of fiber art and contemporary therapeutic practice, Ravin creates spaces where individuals and communities can process experiences, honor legacy, and imagine liberation.
She is a Provisionally Licensed Art Therapist (ATR-P, LPAT-P) and integrates trauma-informed and culturally responsive approaches into her creative and therapeutic work. Ravin's quilts and workshops have been featured in museums, community spaces, and educational settings, inviting participants to engage art as both reflection and restoration.
A fifth-generation quilt maker with over 25 years of professional quilting experience, Ravin's work is grounded in formal training in visual art education and a master's degree in art therapy. Her quilts have been featured in solo museum exhibitions throughout Mississippi.
Years of dedication to the craft and the practice have built a body of work and a community I'm deeply grateful for.
Whether you're seeking a custom quilt, planning an exhibition, looking for therapeutic services, or organizing a workshop, Ravin Lovett, LLC welcomes your inquiry.
